Andrew Gordon,
Chief Technology Officer
Andrew Gordon is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of WATER STANDARD, a firm dedicated to helping solve the global fresh water shortage. Mr. Gordon is a true entrepreneur, self-taught in polymer chemistry, with a 30-year background in machinery design and automation.

In 1990, he founded Time Release Sciences, Inc., a technology company that manufactured a proprietary, highly engineered hydrophilic chemistry membrane material for use in specialized industrial settings. He then sold the company to a NYSE-listed company four years later.

In his next venture, Mr. Gordon founded Auspice Corporation in 1997. Working with technologists from Draper Laboratories and NASA, he licensed the source code that runs the International Space Station and NASA's space shuttle. Mr. Gordon fostered Auspice Corporation's growth by providing reliable, cost-effective, and sophisticated software-based solutions to the challenging automation control issues confronting all businesses that use technology in their daily operations.

Beginning in 2000, Mr. Gordon became focused on finding the most cost-effective and environmentally responsible solution in the wastewater market. The Seawater Desalination Vessel emerged as that solution.

WATER STANDARD, through Mr. Gordon's efforts, holds wide-ranging U.S. and international patents regarding vessel-based desalination and wastewater treatment.

He is a member of many environmental organizations, including the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, Nature Conservancy, OCEANA, World Wildlife Fund, Wilderness Society, and Ocean Conservancy.
