CEO
Joined WATER STANDARD in November 2006 to develop and execute a
comprehensive global business plan.
Joined Azurix in 1998, a start-up global water company and was responsible for the
development, growth, and management of the emergent water business in North and
South America focusing on the water treatment and services business.
Worked at Enron Corporation; Served as President/Joint Venture Management
responsible for the management of power plants, related assets, and joint ventures
worldwide, including China, the Philippines, Guatemala, Argentina, the Dominican
Republic, and the United States.
Graduated from law school at Louisiana State University (LSU); Member of Law Review.
Named Under 40 Alumni of the Year for Louisiana State University in 1999/2000.
Named one of the Top 10 Women in Energy in the USA by the Houston Chronicle in
1996.
Lisa Henthorne,
Chief Technology Officer
Current President of the International Desalination Association (IDA) where she has
been a member of the Board of Directors for the past twelve years.
Headed the desalination business for CH2M Hill; was a technical advisor on many of
the most challenging desalination projects in the Middle East, Australia, North and
South America, and Asia focusing on the water treatment and services business.
Holds three U.S. patents in water treatment.
Recognized expert and leader in seawater desalination technology design and
assessment, pre-treatment evaluation, pilot testing, and design optimization for

Nick Dyner,
Vice President, Development
Global Product Manager for General Electric's Water & Process Technologies Build,
Own & Operate product line managing all outsourced water contracts worldwide
including the company's outsourced water desalination business in the Caribbean and
Canary Islands.
Served as a board of director of GEMA, a Mexico Build, Own, Operate based JV
between GE and Toyo-Mitsui.
Graduate of GE's Commercial Management Program and Six Sigma BB certified.
Graduate in Economics and History from Cornell University.
Andrea Hayden,
Vice President of Risk Management
Prior to joining WATER STANDARD, was an independent consultant specializing in the
valuation and acquisition of water assets with primary focus on the economic and risk
profile of the transactions.
In 2003, moved to WestWater Research as senior associate, concentrating on water
marketing and water asset valuation.
Vice President of Layne Water Development & Storage, a subsidiary of the global
resource exploration and production firm, Layne Christensen Company. Focused on
water resource risk management and the financial evaluation related to potential
acquisitions.
Spent five years as an environmental scientist with Camp Dresser & McKee and then
Earth Tech, both of which are large consulting firms providing water engineering and
environmental services.
Research assistant at Tufts - where she developed supply and demand curves for water
allocation models funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In 1999, joined Azurix, an Enron affiliate that owned, operated, and managed water and
wastewater assets.
Graduated from Bucknell University and has a Master of Science in Civil/Environmental
Engineering and Urban/Environmental Policy from Tufts University. Additionally, she
has a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts where
she specialized in international finance/banking and environmental/resource policy.
Judge Elizabeth Ray,
Chief Administrative Officer
Responsible for design, construction and opening of $119M Civil Courthouse in 2006.
In 1998 was elected by the 59 District Court Judges of Harris County to serve as
Administrative Judge for the Harris County District Courts. Both posts served
simultaneously for 4 years.
In 1992 was elected to the 165th Judicial District Court and served as District Judge
until 2009.
Founded Dillard & Ray, which specialized in commercial litigation in both state and
federal courts.
Graduated Baylor University School of Law, civil practice including litigation in state and
federal courts. Board Certified in Civil Trial Law.
Selected as Trial Judge of the Year by the Texas Appellate Specialists.
Chairman Section of Litigation, Houston Bar Association.
Adjunct Professor, Pre-trial Procedure, South Texas College of Law.
Andrew Gordon,
Founder, Board of Directors member
Entrepreneur with a 30-year background in machinery design and automation.
In 2000, Mr. Gordon became focused on finding a cost competitive and environmentally
responsible solution in the wastewater market. WATER STANDARD and the Seawater
Desalination Vessel™ emerged as that concept, and Gordon began development and
patent work.
Gordon filed the first patent applications in 2002, paving the way for WATER
STANDARD's extensive global trademark and patent portfolios. Gordon's patent
achievements have laid the foundation for WATER STANDARD's recognized leadership
in vessel-based desalination.
Member of many environmental organizations, including the Sierra Club, Audubon
Society, Nature Conservancy, OCEANA, World Wildlife Fund, Wilderness Society, and
Ocean Conservancy.
