This pledge of equity, believed to be the largest initial funding of a startup in the water industry, is unprecedented in the desalination sector. Complemented by our technology, professional staff, and business plan, it will enable WATER STANDARD to rapidly penetrate the fast-growing global desalination market.

While not financially involved in this funding, Goldman Sachs & Co. has closely followed WATER STANDARD’s progress. Goldman Sachs, has stated, "We consider WATER STANDARD to be one of the most exciting stories in the global water sector."
